Una terrazza sulla Sicilia, su quella parte di Sicilia, ricca di fascino, posta al centro dell’isola che non è ne mare ne montagna. Un fascino particolare che ha stregato artisti che qui hanno visto lo stesso paesaggio mutare, assumere coinvolgenti sfumature dovute alle diverse colorazioni: verde durante l’inverno, dove il grano si muove sinuoso sotto al vento e giallo dorato e bruciato dal sole quando, ormai maturo, aspetta di essere raccolto. Di questo singolare panorama i progettisti hanno fatto una personale ricerca per la luce e per la vista verso la vallata. Una vista che non finisce mai di stancare.

Il progetto di CASA BM nasce da semplici indicazioni dei committenti: nucleo familiare composto da 5 persone, uno spazio informale da vivere con gli amici, un soggiorno, una cucina abitabile e uno studiolo. I progettisti a queste sollecitazioni hanno aggiunto due elementi che diventano contraddistintivi del progetto: la luce che inonda le zone giorno e il rapporto con il paesaggio.

A terrace on Sicily, on that fascinating part of Sicily, placed in the middle of the island where there is no sea or mountains. A particular charm that bewitched the artists who saw this same landscape change, taking engaging different shades due to the several different colors: green during the winter, where the wheat waves sinuously under the wind and becomes golden yellow when it is matured and is waiting to be harvested. On the basis of this unique view, the planners conducted a personal research for the light and the view towards the valley. An a view that never tires.

The CASA BM projects is founded on the simple directions by the costumers: the core family made up by 5 people, an informal space to live with friends, a living room, a livable kitchen and a studio. The project leaders added two more elements to the requests, which differentiated them in the project: the light that shines on the day environments and the link with the landscape.
